Nobody's Child

A song that touched my heart when I was a kid n teenager.
Sometimes I felt it reflects myself as the boy without his parents' love.
Especially when I'm feeling down..

Be kind to an orphan coz one day in the Heaven, u and the Prophet Muhammad SAW
will be sitting closely side by side like the two middle fingers..as said in a famous hadith.
Zaid bin Aslam said, the Prophet SAW said;
"I and the people who take care of an orphan(s), in Heaven are likened to these two fingers,
(showing his middle and index fingers)."

25 Things

As I was asked by my nephew recently to write 25 things abt myself so I try to write them here.
Here goes:

1. I like to write especially tazkirah, kisah benar etc..
2. I like to watch news of the world especially knowing abt the Islamic world and their progress.

3. I like to make friends whenever I can but I won't fully trust them until I know them well.
4. I like honest people, also those who are loyal and patient.
5. Sometimes I was fooled by people whom I thought I can trust. It made me sad and hurt..!
6. I am prone to illness, but people whom I love are concerned and take care of me.
7. I like to cook, read, draw, sew, sing and communicate.

8. I have a soft heart but a tough zeal. I will stand for my right and voice it out.
9. I am mostly jovial and calm, but when hurt, I'd cry and would be depressed.
10. I hv an aura that's hard for me to control, sometimes, coz people seem to like me more than I like them. (sound like perasan eh?!)
11. I try my best to love Allah most, then His Prophet SAW and then other people.
12. I missed my late dad and mom very much when I think of them.. I quite envy people with parents for I don't have one.
13. I like to care for other people especially those in need and unfortunate, tho not all.
14. I dunno why people ask others to write this 25 things..! Just to please them, I will then.
Sometimes I like to please other people.
15. I always think I won't live long enough, so I must be prepared for my day.
16. I love to be in Masjidil Haram and Masjidil Nabawi most and perform solah and rituals in them.

17. I hope and pray to die as a syaheed(ah) to be among the 'bighairi hisaab" -people without 'hisab' who would go straight to Jannah (heaven), and don't have to go through As Siraat which is spread over the hell, between Mahsyar and Al Jannah. Syaheed in a jihad doesn't mean u fight yr enemy in a battlefield only. It means much more than that.
18. I feel sorry for those who don't want to improve themselves regarding Islam, their religion by acquiring knowledge and practice their ilm' i.e. what they know. Also those who won't do dakwah on her / his own family.
19. I feel happy for those who look at matters (and act) thru Islamic Worldview (IW), and not thru the eyes (views) of the infidels, liberals and munafiqin. Seeing thru IW is like u see things through a clear clean glasses, whereas if u see through a grey or black (dark) glasses, yr view is surely grey (or black) or in other words - not clear as it should be!

20. I hope and wish to revert someone from the other side to Islam one day.
21. I will continuously increase my knowlegde in Islam and other field, because the more I know,
the more I know I don't know!
22. I will continuosly share my knowledge with my relatives and friends to practise the principle of soleh wa musleh.
23. My principle is to be brave when you are in the right way and according to Islam.
24. I admire people who live to uphold the truth and bravely fight for justice while working an honest living.
25. I hate people who are hypocrite, greedy, liberal and think only of themselves.
Liberal here refers to 'fasik' in Islam who go against the Islamic teachings and do vices, but sometimes bow to Allah's will and order..while hypocrite is a pretender or munafiq in Islam.

Thats all the 25 things abt myself. Actually I can write much more than that.
How abt you, do you like and dare to reveal yr personality?
I guess not so many of you who'd dare to do so. Prove me wrong..

Memori Di Sekolah Primer

Semasa di bangku sekolah rendah saya adalah salah seorang pelajar paling kecil di dalam kelas.
Saya juga agak lemah di dalam aktiviti olahraga atau sukan kerana kurang stamina. Saya tidak seperti kakak-kakak dan abang saya - (4 orang semuanya) yang aktif di dalam sukan olahraga atau permainan. Saya cuma aktif dalam pementasan dan choir atau nyanyian di sekolah dan menjadi pengawas semasa di darjah 6. Namun begitu saya bersyukur kerana sekurang-kurangnya dapat membanggakan ayahibu apabila mendapat tiga buah hadiah di tahun akhir di sekolah kecil itu.

Abang dan kakak-kakak saya kesemuanya bersekolah di sekolah yang sama, SIS(1) manakala saya seorang sahaja bersekolah di sekolah SIS(2). Saya kekadang rasa tersisih bila ke sekolah, kerana berseorangan tanpa teman dan kurang aktif dalam olahraga, namun saya tetap bangga kerana kakak-kakak saya yang bertiga itu bukan sahaja aktif di padang malah juga pandai di dalam kelas. Mereka mewakili sekolah dan negeri di dalam MSSN, namun tetap excel dalam pelajaran.

Prestasi saya sederhana dalam kelas kerana ada yang lebih bijak dari saya, cuma masih top ten. Namun begitu sentiasa ada guru yang menganggap saya sebagai 'pet student' kerana perwatakan saya! Bukannya saya banyak bercakap dengan mereka pun tapi seolahnya ada satu daya tarikan yang menyebabkan guru bersimpati dan menyayangi saya! Guru-guru itu adalah guru lelaki dan rakan-rakan ayah saya. (Ayah juga seorang guru di sebuah sekolah menengah.) Tidaklah saya rasa sunyi kerana kakak dan abang tiada di sekolah yang sama kerana guru saya sentiasa mengawasi dan menjaga saya.

Saya mempunyai rakan perempuan yang ramai dan baik dengan saya. Lima di antaranya yang paling rapat dalam kelas yang sama ialah Azllynah, Marhaini, Faridah, Zainun dan Norliza. Sayangnya saya sudah lama terputus hubungan dengan salah seorang dari mereka. Lima dari mereka saya telah temui semula dalam laman sosial..fb, syukruliLlah. Rakan-rakan lain juga saya temui kembali dlm fb.

Semasa di darjah 4, saya telah menyertai lumba lari pecut 100m dalam sukan tahunan atas galakan guru kelas atau 'pet teacher'. Kerana mendapat tempat ke 3, saya telah mendapat satu piala kecil yang cantik. Tapi malangnya ia telah hilang sebelum sukan hari itu tamat kerana dicuri oleh seseorang. Itulah sesatunya hadiah 'cup' yang saya dapat dalam sukan di sekolah rendah tetapi ianya hilang pula - sudah tak ada rezeki! "Tak ngapa la", saya memujuk hati..namun saya rasa begitu sedih hari itu...! Sedangkan kakak-kakak saya masing-masing memenangi pelbagai medal dan 'cup' dengan banyaknya selama bertahun-tahun mereka berkecimpung di dalam sukan olahraga, iaitu lumba lari jarak dekat dan jauh.

Saya terima seadanya diri saya kerana yang penting Allah telah merahmati saya dengan memanjangkan umur saya ketika kemalangan jalanraya di darjah 2 dulu. Saya telah cedera parah serta pengsan berlumuran darah di atas jalanraya di simpang jalan ke sekolah setelah dilanggar motorsikal. Syukur Allah masih memanjangkan nyawa saya. Saya banyak 'berhutang' kepada Allah kerana Dia telah mengurniakan pelbagai ni'mat kepada saya dari dulu sehingga kini..syukur alhamduliLlah.

Cats

Cat is one of the pets I like. It is so cute and furry, soft to the touch. I have always had
cats at my house since I was a kid. My late dad loved cats too, and so were my late mom, brother and sisters.

The last time I had a pet cat was in 1994. I named the cat Ez (Easy) in the hope that I could easily managed the cat. Sure enough it was easy to manage and care for him since he was a kitten. His grey fur was fluffy when we gave branded catfood along with ordinary food. People thought he was a Siamese cat because of its grey fur. Ez was a playful and doting cat but was quite fierce with unknown people.

When we went back to my hubby's hometown, we'd bring him along in our car. He died when he was 4 yrs old or 15 yr-old cat years due to an illness. My kids loved Ez very much. My previous cats names when I was a kid were Tompok, Asap, Maradona,Tiger and Chimpanzee. They were all domestic Malaysian cats. Some I forgot their names. But Tompok was the cat that saved my life, with Allah's grace, from the bite of a big centipede that was approaching me when I was a baby. My late mom told me about it.

It is said that those who love cats have kind and soft hearts. They usually would care for other animals and human beings more, and can empathized their pain well, too. Our Prophet saw. asked us to be kind to animals because they are also God's creations. One of the sahabahs who loved cats so much was Abu Hurairah ra. or Father of cats! May Allah bless him.
